To elevate the bespoke dining experience aboard our Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ), MJET is seeking a world-class In-Flight Chef to join our elite cabin crew.
As a key member of the team, you will take full ownership of the onboard culinary journey for our owners and charter guests. You will travel worldwide on an airliner transformed into a true “flying yacht,” configured for just 19 passengers—delivering a level of service and exclusivity rarely found in aviation.
The Role & Lifestyle
Operating under the authority of the Captain and Senior Cabin Crew, you will enjoy a unique and dynamic working pattern:
- Rotation: Approximately 2 weeks on duty followed by 2 weeks off
- Life on Board: Embrace the aircrew lifestyle—coordinating high-end catering with the cabin team, managing the aircraft galley, refining presentation, and plating restaurant-quality meals while providing essential in-galley support
- Creativity: Contribute ideas to enhance the onboard dining experience, from menu concepts to presentation styles and guest personalization
- The Perks: During stopovers, explore destinations across the globe—from New York and Tokyo to Hawaii and beyond
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented culinary professional who thrives in a high-performance environment:
- Culinary Expertise: Proven hands-on experience working in professional kitchens, ideally within fine dining, Michelin-starred or Yacht environments
- Presentation Excellence: Strong skills in plating, attention to detail, and the ability to elevate pre-prepared catering to a luxury standard
- Adaptability: Ability to work within the unique constraints and safety standards of aviation
- Beverage Knowledge (a plus): Understanding of wines, food pairing, and cocktail preparation is highly valued
- English Proficiency: Fluent English is essential for working within an international crew and global environment
- Team Spirit: Open, approachable, and able to integrate seamlessly into a close-knit team
- Flexibility: Business aviation requires responsiveness—flights may be scheduled at short notice
- Adventurous Mindset: A passion for travel and a desire to combine culinary excellence with a global lifestyle
